PICK SIX PREVIEWS 2014 College Football Season Preview
Welcome to our 3rd Annual College Football Preview!
We followed up our successful “Freshman Season” by avoiding the dreaded ‘Sophomore Slump,’ continuing to expand and grow our site, all the while maintaining our award-winning quality. In our first season (2012), we finished with the Most Accurate BCS Predictions in the Nation, beating out all major magazines and websites. Last season we again finished in the top 3, improving our record to 17-1 against the national magazines.
Our site has grown from an empty home page to a library of 300+ pages of college football content. Our staff has also grown this offseason, as the two of us searched the best journalism schools in the nation and found 10 talented football writers. These contributors are conference-specific and are featured throughout our preview and will provide in-depth regional coverage this fall.
Having been accepted into the prestigious Football Writers Association of America (FWAA), we completed ballots for several awards, the All-America team, and even the CFB Hall of Fame. Our interactive network of Twitter followers has soared over the 27,000 mark ... there is never a dull moment from this group of football die-hards, and we appreciate all of them!
This year, we look to follow up our first two seasons with another one filled with dominance. We are assuming the role of back-to-back National Champions, but unlike 1996 Nebraska and 2013 Alabama, we want to complete the “three-peat” as the Most Accurate Previews in the Nation! We hope you enjoy all the fresh content we have to offer.
